I've been selected to participate in the Beaverton City Library Author Book Fair on May 21, 2022!
I am honored to announce that my poetry book Mis-En-Scène will be part of the Local Author's Book Fair at our city library on May 21st! This was an application-only process and I'm excited to share my book for sale as well as let folks know about my publisher, Belgrave House Press! My poetry book will also become part of the library collection!
My poetry book has been published by Belgrave House Press (www.belgravehouse.com) and is now available on Amazon.
This collection of fifteen poems introduces the reader to a series of connected moments; scenes we all encounter but rarely pause to consider for their dramatic impact. Special thanks to Joni Blecher and the Willamette Writers Poetry Group for their support and guidance on this journey!

Talking Writing exemplifies the impact luminous stories, first-person journalism, and other hybrid genres can have in the new media world.
My poem 'Transcendence' is currently being featured in an art exhibition at the Maude Kerns Art Center in Eugene OR!
As part of the gallery exhibition, Social Being, the Maude Kerns Art Center is pleased to present the work of visual artist Kathleen Caprario, whose mixed media art installation "Patterns of Privilege – Now Hear This" is inspired by and incorporates the works of three Oregon poets: Carter McKenzie, Benjamin Gorman and Bobbie Calhoun. Social Being takes place January 14 through February 11, 2022. The Art Center is located at 1910 East 15th Avenue, Eugene, Oregon 97403. The exhibition is free and open to the public, dependent on Covid19 safety protocols, with information available online at https://www.mkartcenter.org/
